Electroacoustic rattle
2012
I recorded the sound of about ten wind rattles, extracted parts of them and combined them.
I then subjected the same parts to slight changes in pitch and duration and combined them with the
original parts. I installed the result of this work in a very small art gallery in Florence, whose
name is Vera Pietra Serena.
The sound of the installation was clearly audible outside the gallery continuously, 24 hours a day, characterising an old corner of Florence for a few days.
